Notes:
Quite a bit of volatility in the past month for my investments. Uncertainty over the Ukraine and Israel conflicts, continued higher interest rates and higher inflation have caused some recent turmoil. I'm continuing to set money aside for new windows, wife just returned from a road trip so no longer need to siphon money off to fund that. Recent USNR orders didn't go as planned so no influx of cash from that. We've got a retreat out of town in a few weeks and I may need to ensure I've got some cash available for that. Having moved my Emergency Fund savings from my original HYSA - established in 2008 with ING Orange 360 - to the Capital One's more-recent HYSA product has yielded far better returns. It appears that the savings account I had no longer fluctuates rates to stay competitive and instead has stayed constant at .30%. The new account that I set up in March is 4.25 APY.
