Impeachment inquiry into Trump launched after a blitz of revelations showing, once again, his utterly stunning idiocy, abuse of power, and corrupt self-dealing. Change cannot come fast enough politically, but the real damage has been done. And, despite talk of a strong economy, anyone who is paying attention can see the fissures starting to form here and abroad in manufacturing and consumer confidence. The tide is going out.

What's most amazing is that what I said was before Covid-19 or the January 6 insurrection. My comments are even more true given the abysmal job Trump did of confronting the pandemic with any semblance of competency or his behavior leading up to and on January 6 which, by any measure, is treason. Trump was already a wrecking ball before all that. And, if you think Biden, imperfect as he is, is responsible for the current economic and geopolitical predicaments (i.e., high inflation after so much easy money, supply chain issues due to the pandemic and war in Ukraine, and now the weaning the market off of a cocaine-fueled easy-money rally), then you're either not paying attention or are not being honest with yourself.

No matter who is in office the spending and the stupidity of the people in charge will continue. I'm not trying to be partisan, but look at the spending. Everyone here is trying to get ahead of this rat race and we are both suffering fools. Look at the inflation!

We work so hard and save as much as we can to rise above it all, but the corruption is undoing our hard work. It's infuriating!
