Notes:
August placeholder.

The hits just keep on coming...
- $800 car repair out of nowhere.
- $450 dental bill.
- A/C and Furnace had to get replaced. I knew it was a matter of time (units were 20+ years old), but it still sucks forking out $10k for something that we're not enjoying.
Silver lining: I was able to finance it all at 0%; I'll take free money when I can.
- Basement freezer went out and we lost over $600 worth of beef that we just bought a couple months ago.
- The place we store our boat is closing down and the new place is going to be $$$ instead of just $.

Crypto dive.

Closed out our Robinhood account. Will re-open under Schwab when we start contributing again.

Borrowed $1200 from HELOC to cover last installment of property taxes. I've since upped our monthly savings to properly pay for them next year.

Early August we went on a mid-week getaway (split the room with friends) and booked a Mexico trip [couple months from now] that we've been planning for a while.
We also had an annual Ozarks trip that racked up some big $$$.

Those were the major vacation expenses left for the year and then it's time to figure out how to pay for it all 😅. Currently floating ~6k on credit cards.

Definitely have to scale back RothIRA contributions and probably even 401k to catch up.
