About Me
Highly sensitive person getting crushed by the daily grind of corporate life. I'm an artist-at-heart who was allured into an analytical career because of money. Figuring out a way to unwind years of decisions based on societal constructs imposed upon me and my thoughtless nature of not realizing it all destroys my soul.
Why I Joined
It's fun to review progress and view others' as well.
Best Financial Decision
Buying a foreclosure and putting in sweat equity. Buying a second home - the crummiest in a highly desired area and renovating every last inch of it.
Worst Financial Decision
Boredom shopping.
Current Investing Strategy
Curb spending, while saving as much as possible. Keeping all investments isolated to retirement, with a rainy-day cash fund. Once cash position gets high enough invest in another rental property.
What tools do you use?
Mint, spreadsheets, Fidelity, Wells Fargo.
I need financial help with...
Alternative investments and passive income, plus the motivation to continually focus on such things.
Favorite Books
Stop Worrying and Start Living, Wool, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Calvin and Hobbes
