| Opened a brokerage account for the first time. Somewhere to put long term money but not retirement. Holy moly this should be interesting. For now I am adding that under Other Assets as it is just sitting cash. Not sure how to track it going forward. starting to max out our roths... finally! now need to get back to upping our 401k monies also. if we aren't going to have a mortgage interest for ahwile, we need to put money somewhere for some tax breaks. gah! I hate taxes. so ya, we put the earnest moeny down for the lot in AZ so this is real. not sure if I put the asset down yet or not. It would sure make our networth pretty! ha! I will leave it off for awhile as really it is all paper right now. we aren't paying on anything. so we need to get the TX house ready and sold and find us a rental. |
