Debt-to-Assets = 65.57% Refinanced two of the rental houses (15 years @ 3.875%), and completed a small renovation at one of the rentals this month. The house is the one we have earmarked as the "college fund" and will be paid off when before our daughter turns 15. It was past due for a new kitchen and new furnace, so our rental cash reserves (labeled: annuities) took a hit to get both done. I feel it was a solid investment and should help the house get rented fast each time. I also secured a $15,000 line of credit through a third party should I need any access to cash for the investment properties for any reason in the next couple of years.
