About Me |
Medically retired. |
Why I Joined |
To keep track of my net worth. I don't include the value of my home ($475,000) because it doesn't generate income. |
Best Financial Decision |
Getting my degree when tuition was $184 a semester. I don't know how kids do it now. That college has become out-of-reach for so many is a national disgrace. |
Worst Financial Decision |
Not having had adequate life insurance on my late spouse. Sometimes you need to force those difficult discussions with unwilling family members. |
Current Investing Strategy |
Just hanging in there with plenty of cash/CDs and my Vanguard target retirement fund. Greatly relieved to have Ds in control of the government again! |
How do you manage your finances? |
I avoid debt and live below my means. Aside from the occasional home improvement project, I'm just naturally not much of a spender. |
What tools do you use? |
