Notes:
Things continue along smoothly. Refinancing of my home is going great and should be completed by the end of the year. 3.25% 30 year, fixed. I'm selling nearly all my taxable stock positions in order to pay down the principal and secure better loan terms. I'll begin tracking my dividends from all accounts, not just the taxable positions starting this month. 26Oct2012 - SYY $14.17 25Oct2012 - GE $23.15 09Oct2012 - CHL $26.07 05Oct2012 - FUSEX $3.47 03Oct2012 - XLF $13.22 02Oct2012 - KMB $11.67 October 2012 total: $91.75 I increased my 401(k) contributions to 6% -- plus a 4% match -- which will allow me to sock away about $6,000 a year to my tax-sheltered account and I'm also contributing $5,000 a year to the Roth IRA. I believe I'm still on track to reach my goal of obtaining a net worth of $150,000 by the age of 30. I'll be 31 in February of 2014 and I believe I can make this goal. Housing may have less to do with meeting this goal than I thought. Prediction of net worth change: + $1,000
