Notes:
Entry: December 23, 2014. Temporary charges to credit card for holiday gifts and travel, to be paid off in early January. We are getting a 1% raise in January. Joy. I've turned up efforts on home repairs with the plan to fully convert the house to a rental over the next year. I'll move to a smaller, cheaper and more manageable property. With increasing home value and mortgage debt pay down, I hope to be able to refinance the 6.25% mtg rate which, at today's low rates, would shave several hundred off of my monthly costs. I reached my goal of a $300K net worth by the end of the year. And I'm happy about that; however, with accelerated efforts towards extra income generation and more belt tightening, things could've been even better. I intend to take things to another level in 2015. The current FT job is taxing to say the least, and I need to shore up my reserve funds, investments and reduce debt so that I can move on to other things; multiple income streams are a must, so that will be the big focus. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Home value is updated monthly from Zillow.com/Zestimate (Purchase price was $370K in August 2006). Other Mortgage = HELOC/2nd Mortgage
