Notes:
Set up payoff schedule so the exterior doors I put on my Home Depot card will be paid off before the 0% is up - and stuck to it this month. DId the same thing for the credit card transfer paid off before the 4.99% rate is up. Established a car loan (OUCH) but the rate is 2.99% so the payments are only $212.52. First payment isn't due until September, but I already made a payment of $215, which mostly went to principle (yeah!). I also ordered a new PC. The one the kids use for school/entertainment is on life support :( But I did lots of research, compared prices with my employee purchase plan and Dell deals, and got a pretty good system with monitor for under $500. Which I paid for with my Visa, but have already budgeted payment before any interest is due. Baby steps! Paid off the credit card I use for autopay utilities. I made a promise to myself to use it for nothing else!! And if I slip up, I will transfer money from my checking account immediately. (Sometimes it's better to use credit card to keep things sane - like when I pre-order books. Using my debit card for that is a nightmare trying to balance and remember what is floating out there.) All in all, I think it was a pretty good month.
