Notes:
I spent too much, as usual...story of my life. But I am sticking to my plan of paying off my main Visa every month, regardless of what I spent. I also did a balance transfer of all credit card balances that incur interest to one card with a 2 year promo rate of 4.99. I'm budgeting equal payments to get that paid off before the promo rate expires. The doors I had installed will be paid off on time to avoid interest. Last big purchase I plan to make that has to go on credit! I am done with school (just one last class which I paid out of pocket). I applied for a consolidation loan, which is in process. I should get a letter in the next few weeks with an accurate balance and payment schedule. My daughter grads from high school this year : ( I have been putting money away for her college, so hopefully no additional loans for her! I have enough saved for her first semester's tuition and books (no room & board required, whew!). Her dad better help after that, and she should get some scholarship money since she's a super smarty pants. On the plus side, my 401k is showing signs of life.
