Notes:
As of September 30, 2011. "Retirement" = all registered investments. "Stocks" = all non-registered investments (Canadian/US/International Index Funds). "Other Assets" = TFSA account (Considered an "emergency fund" which holds only fixed-income assets). "Other Debts" = Interest-Free Loan.

Well, a lot of change for me this month. Created a professional corporation to hold all of my income for tax deferral and eventual income-splitting opportunities down the road. Received an interest-free loan and signing bonus, and started to receive my contracted salary. Still in the process of getting money moved appropriately between all of the different accounts but hope to have this more tidy soon. Big hit this month was a $12.5K tax installment that came due on September 15. Another one of a similar amount is going to come due on December 15, so have to budget accordingly for that. Hopefully as a result there won't be too much of a personal tax hit come next April. Also likely making a real estate purchase soon, which will also play temporary havoc with finances, but in a good long-term sort of way.

Investments remained crappy this month but they haven't tanked way too much, though I am continuing to sink money into them every month faithfully.
