As of January 29, 2014. "Cash" = personal cash. "Stocks" = all non-registered equity investments, combined personal and corporate holdings (Canadian/US/International Index Funds & ETFs). "Bonds" = corporate cash (including actual cash and fully-liquid assets such as money invested in high-interest savings accounts). "Retirement" = all registered investments. "Other Assets" = TFSA account (Considered an "emergency fund" which holds only fixed-income assets). "Other Debts" = Interest-Free Loan.
A blah month - I made the usual income, though not as much as typical given that I was not officially "working" during two of the weeks during the month, and in addition stock markets were obviously flat. I have moved the usual maximum amounts into the RRSP and TFSA. Nothing new or exciting to report - I am waiting for opportunities to get into the market. |
