Stocks and real estate prices continue to slide and dragging down my net worth. I am not deterred however, and view this as a buying opportunity. On the bright side, I took advantage of a no cost refi at my credit union to reduce my HEL rate from 5.99% (15 year) to 4.99% (10 year). Work is busy as ever, as I've had to step up and fill the void that a departed coworker has left. My employer has generously increased our 401k matching by an additional percent, and I am expecting a raise soon for taking on additional responsibilities.
