This is the first month in which my net assets crossed the $1 million mark, I had to add my car's value to make that happen.

Yesterday I reached that mark too. Completely took me by surprise. Home prices in my hood have gone up. But I feel good about my new number because I still have most of worth in $ not real estate. I felt very proud. I don’t come from a high income field, so I feel proud of my accomplishment. I’m early 60s, and being human I still have regrets about stupid moves and expenses that kept me from reaching this number sooner. We humans are never completely happy.
