Notes:
Jeff asked MS and I for a $6,000 loan to pay his 2021 taxes and he would start paying us back beginning $500 a month in May. This is added to "Bonds" on Assets. That's why our cash is off. Also, we moved to a larger office in CR and we have much larger rent and we are paying on the old place still, plus we bought furniture and furnishings, although most of that hasn't been paid back yet. We got the Miata going again. We had to get a new battery and took it in to Entire Care for an oil change and checkup. We also paid for the Vulcan to get new seals as it was leaking oil and it needed a few other things, costing $2600. We got Ruth's ring polished and repaired and gave it to Sean to give to Emilie and we stayed at the Embassy Suites Motel near Emilie's. MS bought her a wedding dress, too, and we are getting other expenses. MS went to Redekers to buy 3 walnut library desks for Ames (1) and CR (2). Kay Foster started the end of February in Ames as a therapist and we hired Shannon Haus also. He'll start in July. We got the ball rolling on 401K and a health plan and Emily got that all rolling so we are giving her a $1000 bonus and $500 a month raise. Real estate is rising rapidly so I added $50,000 to our house value. The DOW was up 2.5 for the month but still off for the year.
