Notes:
DOW YTD 8.29% July: 4.27% We were able to sell the camper to Easy Camper, but only got $5700 for it. Still, it was nice to get it off our hands and not have to think about it any more. I had to drive it alone to Nevada from Crosslake. On the way I dropped off the camper mattress in CR for Madeleine. Brandon and I met with Kurt Friedrich on an office in Ankeny. I finished 2 IKEA benches for the CR office and started sanding MS' two metal chairs to repaint. We gave $500 to Sean and Emilie to start their remodeling company. Emilie was hired in Pine River as Assistant Principal, so that is a relief. Melany Forbes started as COO of our company and is doing a great job. I cleaned out the N side of the cabin lot, and 10 feet around the shed, so our cabin lot is looking a lot bigger and spacious. Pete resigned. He has to drive over an hour and it wore him out. Paul, Sean and I worked on a door for the lean-to, but only got the framing put in and doors built, but not installed. Cindi and Craig visited us at the cabin a few days. We had the cabin sprayed for bugs and had the air conditioner worked on as it wasn't working. I was sick a few days in Ames. We made two trips to GR to drop off things from the camper and our storage (her Barbies) for Emilie to sell. I installed the camper pantry in the cabin. MS and I took most of the decking lumber off of Paul's deck as he's getting it replaced. Used the lumber to build a saw station for firewood. Lyn had hip surgery this month, so they were not around the cabin as much. The Dive Guys cleared out the N side of the dock 15 feet. That was $5000, but we haven't seen a bill yet. MS met with Barb at the Nelson Brothers and went shopping together in St. Cloud. Brandon and Philly and family vacationed in their old haunts - Ft Dodge, Ames and Omaha. Jeff is planning to start a pop up lobster roll station on Venice Beach. Madison is walking like crazy. Marty and Amanda sent us two new outdoor rocking chairs for the cabin - very nice and comfortable. I increased the value of our cabin property by $15,000 on this report due to our increase in yard space buy removing much of the woods and planting grass.
