Notes:
Cash is getting VERY low, but partly driven by closing costs on a mortgage re-fi. We decided to pull the trigger on a 15 year loan at 2.25% with no points. Closing costs were relatively low (<$1,100 not counting prepaids, so ~3.5 month payback on interest savings), but we had some miscommunication with the lender regarding my Nov. 1 payment to the active lender at that time, so the loan will be a bit higher, but I'm hoping to see a refund check for the overpayment at some point in the next couple months, hopefully not longer. Either way, I'm nervous about the larger monthly payment, but excited to see the balance start dropping faster. I look forward to not having a mortgage someday!
