Notes:
Recovered nicely from the Holidays, though that's likely because much of the spending was captured in the December entry. Got a small bonus which helped pump up the cash. Also I bumped up the house value based on recent sales. Because we used to itemize and had personal exemptions I've ended up with owing more in taxes in 2018 than in 2017 (both actual and as a percentage of income). Frustrated that even though I dropped my withholding number the changes in the code combined with the IRS under withdrawing payroll taxes for quick political points has me going from next to zero taxes owed for the last few years to a tax bill in the thousands. That will hurt the cash going forward. Also hurting the cash is the need to travel for a friend's funeral, but that's what emergency funds are for after all. Otherwise thankful no other major issues.
