Notes:
Fall has been difficult, both financially and personally. My wife lost a sibling and it was unexpected, so lots of out of state travel to support family, but as I said when we lost our good friend in NYC, that's what the emergency fund is for. Retirement has been on a tear, so per the plan I'm skimming off some of that in preparation for a five year bucket strategy. This way I'm good to go regardless of the market when the time comes. Will likely go lower in cash as we are planning a cruise next year and are putting the money into that. "Other debts" will continue to be paid down aggressively. My mechanic has hinted that I may need another vehicle in the new year, my 2001 is approaching an end to it's reliable life without a lot of updating. I am thinking, fingers crossed, it will last another year. Hope all have a nice holiday, ours will be a bit sad with the recent loss, but we are thankful for what we have and those we have around us.
