Notes:
Rough couple of months. I still raised housing up from previous amount but undervalue per market claims. Wife is pushing for a new vehicle but without her working we are not able to save outside of retirement accounts so we are slipping on savings now. So I've tied getting a new vehicle to her getting employed, that seems to have motivated her to get more serious about looking. Continuing to plunk away at the mortgage and expect more summertime bills when credit cards come due for short trip to Corning and visiting family. While it's not desperate or anything I will say it is eye opening to me how much my wife's part time income allowed us to be comfortable with extra savings and spending. This is going to cause a re-evaluation of our projected retirement accounts and income spending, particularly because she is tending to want to plan some type of "trip" every other month and I see that as how she wants to spend at least the earlier part of our retirement. It doesn't help that pretty much every friend she has out earns us and are now traveling heavily again because of restrictions on travel lifting. Oh well, at least I get to vote and veto when necessary but that doesn't make me popular.
