Notes:
Roommate owes +975 rent +975 move-in expenses. This month I bought a plane ticket for a vacation I'm taking in February - my first "real" vacation since starting my job in September of 2010. I will very likely buy a new car sometime in the next 2 months or so. I will also very likely start investing a minimal amount in some stocks based on conversations with the adviser who led the retirement seminars at work - for signing up for the class through work, we were allowed one free session, and I will probably see him in the future to make some changes to my accounts. Work is going well - I'm looking forward to extra money in early 2012. Not sure yet what a raise will look like, but expecting COL 3 to 4% and probably a small promotion/raise in Feb/Mar. Also the company does profit sharing (which I've heard is quite generous) and sometimes "secret bonuses" that are distributed by the departments but noone below manager level seems to have any clue how they are determined.
