Notes:
We made it through December about as well as you can make it through December.

Had some unexpected vet expenses - it was time for our diabetic cat to take a trip across the Rainbow Bridge, so we had to say goodbye to him.

Paid for my last semester of undergrad, wife starts grad school next week. She's going to keep working full time. My career is still in limbo, if things go wonky I'm going to direct enroll into an MPA as I've got enough connections to jump right into mid-level. Wife's work pays for her masters so her loan balance increase over the next few years will be temporary.

It was a good year. Rough year in some parts. Definitely not the best financial year. But we made a lot of good, tough decisions for ourselves and while we may not have the biggest increase in our net worth, we bought a house and we've started saving for retirement. These are things that will pay off in spades down the road.

A grateful send off to 2019, and a warm welcome to 2020.

Happy new year, my friends.
