Notes:
A bit of disappointing news - my (paid off) truck was deemed a total loss due to the November accident. As a result, I received ~$13k toward a new vehicle. The truck has been stricken form the ledger but now I'll need to replace it with something which will assuredly reduce the cash and liquidity position I'm in.

Markets haven't been doing so hot as evidenced in the reduction in my portfolio values despite having actually made deposits and contributions. I'm putting $1384/mo into my IRA since my current company doesn't offer a match on their 401k. Once I've reached the $6500 annual cap, I'll pivot to something else. Additionally, I've been depositing $600/mo into the state's 529 plan. 19% of my drill pay from the Reserves also goes into TSP but overall impact is minimal.

My state permits me to reduce my income by $4000 for contributions into their 529 plan which is currently investing in a total market plan. Hopefully by the time my kid is ready for college, this thing is actually making money.
