Still pretty good it being early in October. Should have lots of momentum going in to the end of the year with a raise + 401K maxed, + my OASDI deductions seemed to have maxed. Don't think I will hit the magic 500K mark until sometime next year (I'd predict April next year). I do have some major purchases coming that may offset some of this (appliances & new TV) but I may hold off on some of those items till after I do my taxes. Overall I'm pretty happy with the net worth since Feb going up from: 356K to 416K (as of Oct 12). That's 60K in 8 Months, or almost 66% of my pre-tax salary. Of that 56K was increases in assets. The rest I am assuming is from decrease in mortgage. On the investment side, I still think I can do quite a bit better, and I still think I spend too much money and could budget a bit better.
