Notes:
This year already seems to be proving a challenge for moving in the right direction. Although I made some nice money on the side as a musician, all it did was keep me from going in the red with all the lingering bills that have come up the last 2 months. I've decided to go on a minor spending fast: no more unnecessary purchases through the end of March. It sort of coincides nicely with the giving up soda for Lent. The big story is a challenging living situation, not for me but my parents. They may be forced to downgrade their living arrangements soon, and I'm not sure what part I will be playing in that as of yet. It's been stressful to say the least and I hope things turn out for the best. It's frustrating when you're not in control of a situation. On the bright side of things, I should be receiving a $3000 tax refund in the next 30 days. That will automatically go into the savings, putting me a little bit closer to the car goal, although I don't expect that to fully vest until the end of next year. Too many other unknowns at the moment, especially with a lingering computer purchase.
