Curious as to how you valued your pension. I too will have a pension in five years when eligible… I only include the literal amount my beneficiaries would collect today if something happened to me when counting my net worth. I know this vastly underestimates the true value of my pension… when I retire in five years, my annual pension will be in the neighborhood of $150k. Reversing the 4% rule of thumb, that’s the equivalent of $3.75 million.
