Notes:
Career: My project hit a big milestone yesterday, in that the entire team can use my work now. The next step is to fix authentication so that everyone can use my work, and to fix issues with the work itself. I'm also tracking what boxes I need to fill in order to get promoted and working with my tech lead to pick up work in a way that will also fill those boxes.

Life: My in-laws are visiting now, they are around for the next three months. They are older than my parents by a decade, both retired from long careers, and more emotionally mature and available than my parents. At least they don't expect me to carry any of their emotional baggage like my parents do. I'm grateful for my in-laws because they're helping me create distance from my parents in order to see them more maturely and objectively. Since I've created my own family, I'm okay detaching from and expecting a bit more from my parents.

Financial: We've almost saved up the necessary cash to pay last year's income taxes and it's still on my partner to take next steps for this. I'm grateful that he sold a lot of stocks last year to keep cash for a down payment. I'm grateful that we just went ahead and purchased a house in March, because in hindsight we locked in a great combination of good interest rate and reasonable house price. Interest rates have now gone up while house prices have stayed the same as how I predicted in January.

Health & wellness: I'm eating healthier since my in-laws cook a lot. I'm also eating less since I'm busier at work so don't think about food so much. I should be doing more strength training but I'm doing more meditation, yoga, and cardio instead. Finally, I'm reading books that are helping my mental health and should help my life for the long term.
