Career: I fixed authentication and fixed a bunch of smaller issues with my project so it's on track to launch in mid-October. I'm still tracking what boxes I need to fill in order to get promoted next May and am working on one of the boxes right now. And I'm excited for a work trip at the end of this month!
Life: Lately I summarize books I read to my mom and ask about what she is reading. She's writing more poems lately and she started following Rupi Kaur after I introduced her. I also summarize books and blog posts to my husband and told him about "Interbeing" from "Peace is Every Step" by Thich Nhat Hanh and about "productivity guilt" and "productivity anxiety" from "home body" by Rupi Kaur.
Financial: This has taken a back seat to the other categories. My husband recently mentioned that we should revisit our joint asset allocation and I don't disagree but *shrug*. It will happen when it happens. We are planning a weekend trip to Seattle for a friend's wedding next month and a family trip to Hawaii after that so it's spending season right now.
Health & wellness: I'm still doing more meditation, yoga, and cardio instead of strength training. But I looked up a strength training program which I will start after I finish the last two cardio workouts in my current program. |
