Career: I’m a bit glad that my job is not very demanding right now because I'm trying to focus on making my husband's job more sustainable. He's getting burned out because of a variety of factors. He's seriously depressed by his job and I'd like to help where I can.
Life: I booked flights to visit my parents in August, and the airline cancelled the route I booked so I need to re-book a flight back. We also booked a last minute babymoon to Costa Rica, which is why I skipped last month's entry. It's my last two days here, and I'm grateful to get this last childless vacation with my husband.
Financial: I sold individual company stock to fund my portion of the house remodel and already transferred this to our joint account so it's not included in my net worth. My husband has also earmarked selling individual stock to fund his portion of the house remodel which will simplify our joint portfolio somewhat.
Health & wellness: I'm almost done my current cardio program and two-thirds done the strength training program I mentioned in May. This got dropped the past two weeks in favor of a vacation but I'll restart next week. |
