|End of year 2015 = ouch. Didn't make the $900k goal. Will be purchasing land and building a house starting in January, so strange numbers are on their way.
Year end 2016 goal $985,000.000. Monthly increase needed $7942.25.
End of January
Amount needed per month to reach goal is now $9532. Woof.
End of February: About to close on a construction loan, so bills are rising. Small, very small raise will kick in in April, but March should be a huge gain as a bonus and a tax refund are set to hit our accounts in the first two weeks.
Monthly increase now needed to hit $985000 goal = 10,082. Highly unlikely.
End of March: Bonus, tax refund are major contributors to the rise, along with the market recovery. Bills rising due to construction starting. Hitting the $985k goal will still be quite difficult.
Monthly increase now needed for goal = $6233.78
End of April: Construction loans starting to be paid in May. Officially entering the "difficult to make the goal" months. We'll need some help from the market to pull this off.
Monthly increase now needed for goal= $6204
End of May: Monthly increase to reach goal =$5796
End of June: Post Brexit, I can't believe we made the goal for this month. Monthly amount needed to reach year goal is now $5720
End of July: Thank you stock market. I took advantage of the huge jump to take some value out of quickly depreciating vehicles. Monthly amount needed to reach year goal is now $4468
End of August: purchases for new home will eat into our ability to make the goal for the year, but I'm hoping things like dividends will help out. Good month for us in August. Monthly amount needed to make the goal is now $4253.
End of September: bought appliances for new house through a sale and didn't put it as part of the mortgage, so cash took a hit. It'll be furniture this month so the end of year goal is looking dicey. Needed now monthly...$8516
