Late entry, jan 18th. We moved in a few weeks or month ago and we love our new house. family are renting our old house and it is all working out great. Posted on 1/17/2013 at 7:05 PM we did buy the reno house, took longer than expected. it will be a 5 or 600/month payment, hopefully we can flip it in a year or two. hubs has 12k of the cash to work with, trying to not need much more than that but obviously, if we want to flip it, all the money will be going there. sis in law was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. i am going to buy her a hospital bed and anything else she needs, may move her in with us in future if needed. the closet is in the works. we just stayed at a lakehouse for a week, it was wonderful. a lot of stress lately though. we just bought goats also, 150 bucks total, we could swing that for the kids fun. i want things to calm down but it seems i keep getting things going. kid got in to gifted, we have a meeting this week to discuss the education plan. at least that doesn't cost anything. Posted on 4/7/2013 at 6:56 PM We are deep into renovations of the reno house, getting a good deal on a new roof, should be 5500$ and closet should be finished soon so thats another $6000 left to pay on that. Then gutters are to be done on home, $3400 soon. quite a bit going out. but we are hoping to sell the reno house sometime next year, nice profit, it will be worth it. Posted on 12/1/2013 at 9:44 PM
