Notes:
Paid off our mortgage; how's that for a way to celebrate Labor Day weekend? Freedom from debt means we'll have more control over the conditions and duration of our labor. Probably have lost some on our retirement accounts with all the market downdrafts and accompanying mini-surges lately, but I have not calculated our exact position so I'll leave that number alone for now. Next goals are to pay for our daughter's college education (much easier now!), continue to max out 401Ks, and accumulate more cash for our escape fund from the full-time corporate world, hopefully 4-5 years from now.
