Wow, we hit $3M. I could see it coming but it's still somewhat of a shock. When I started calculating our net worth about a decade ago and we were trying to hit $1M, $3M seemed beyond comprehension. But here we are. It will probably start to decline as I've decided I'm done with the full-time corporate world, but I'm doing consulting/freelance work, though not making much money yet, so I'll have to rely on savings to meet my fairly low expenses. Thankfully my wife is still working and providing good, affordable health insurance.
