Notes:
We have almost hit the $250K net worth milestone!!!! We should be there by the end of September. Another milestone we should hit in September is having $100K in retirement accounts. This August we finished putting in our second bathroom. Our cash went down because of the final construction payments, but I added that to the value of our house. I was able to apply $2000 towards my student loan and I plan to have that knocked out by end of October. I was also able to add $2000 to our stock portfolio (Vanguard 500 index fund). I usually have more to work with at the end of the month, but I had quarterly federal and state tax payments, which came out to $2700. My commission checks are usually off in the withholding and I have to keep track of the difference and make quarterly payments. Next month, I plan to have a lot of excess cash after expenses, so I plan to make IRA contributions.
