Notes:
OTHER = 529 College Plan Sold about $21K in index funds and moved the proceeds to cash. We will be purchasing a new home in the next few months, and with the current market volatility, we didn't want to risk the money not being there when we need it. Great month paycheck-wise - was able to sock away around $8500 into savings. Unfortunately, $4000 of that was used for the first installment to my contractor for work we are having done on our second bathroom. (Roof needs to be raised to bring the bathroom up to code before we can sell the house). The total job will cost $9000, so I will be paying out another $5000 over the next few weeks. Reached the $16,500 max on my 401K this month. Even with the contribution, retirement accounts took a bit of a hit because of the stock market. Will probably make IRA contributions in the next month or so.
