December, was another busy month. We started the 'accelerated mortgage payoff' plan with our mortgage lender, paying our monthly payment on a bi-weekly basis. Also, trying to cook more at home, rather than going out to eat so often. Implemented cost-savings plan for our budget, trying trim all extravagant expenses, and to live more within our means. Holidays brought visitors, a few more meals out, and took us on travels that incurred extra costs, so I was unable to make as much headway on credit card debt, and did not save as much as I had wanted. Used old gift cards to buy gifts for family and friends this year, thereby spending less cash. Also picked up several shifts at the restaurant to have some extra cash.
