Notes:
Finally added Mr.'s numbers in. So of the total gains this month, $23K are due to making this net worth figure "joint." My 401K match finally started, since I've been with my company for 6 months now. This means each pay period (there are 24 total), $800 is going into my 401K. 83% of this is from my gross salary, and 17% is chipped in by the company. I need to check if the employer contribution counts towards the 401K maximum contribution limit. I still have $450 to contribute to my Roth IRA to hit the maximum. Mr. does not have a 401K (small employer), and has not contributed to his ROTH for this year yet. He probably should soon, while things are still down. Maybe I'm naive and they'll be down for a long time. But our thing with the IRA and retirement in general is always "sooner is better than later." Still working on closing off accounts and streamlining our messy financials. Still have 3 checking accounts and two sets of credit card bills. Once we have a better idea of our financial picture, I want to set some pretty agressive goals. Really important for preparing for my year off with baby. It'll get done this month...
