Notes:
Things are on track with savings goals still. I am looking at having to shuffle some money to cover tuition, the first check was disbursed last week. Bummer. More incentive to better control costs. We've taken on a family Y membership, which is about $80 additional/month versus what we were paying for one child membership. I'm hoping it proves to be a great value for DH and kids over the summer. I also hope to offset some of the swim lesson costs by visiting open pool times with the girls and reading up on teaching kids to swim. I rode my bike to the grocery store for the first time and got laughed at by some drivers, but made it there and back safely, saving a teeny bit of gas (only 3 miles roundtrip). Hoping to get used to riding more and use the bike to save money. The ultimate goal is to commute to work as much as possible. 20 miles round trip, so I've got a ways to go in terms of working up to that distance.
