About Me
Two married 30 somethings (plus a baby) trying to achieve financial independence in one of the most expensive cities in the country.
Why I Joined
Because this is apparently the new Net Worth IQ?
Best Financial Decision
Paying off our credit cards and vowing to never again carry a balance.
Worst Financial Decision
I started investing early but didn't really serious about it until my late 20's. I also fell into the trap of thinking that student loans are "normal" and ended up going to grad school and graduating with a little over $25k in debt.
Current Investing Strategy
Fund our retirement accounts. Live frugally. Invest the surplus in our taxable account.
How do you manage your finances?
I have a spreadsheet for everything.
What tools do you use?
Quickbooks. Excel. Personal Capital.
I need financial help with...
Asset allocation.
