Still holding our head over the $500k mark, so life is good. :-)
Made our first payment on the new mortgage last week (all principal). The balance is still higher than where we were in June, but we should be back on track by the end of this month.
I'm a little in shock about the state of the markets right now. I'm still scarred by the year 2000 election cycle, at which time I got my ass handed to me on a transfer I did in my 401k. So, part of me wants to just wait things out and pull everything to the sidelines until next Spring. Of course even a plan like that could backfire...
