Notes:
Small adjustments, my 2009 truck was rear-ended and needs body work. The insurance company has but me a check for around $1287 to get it fixed. Just need to find a shop now. Slight rebounding in the value of my investments and retirement accounts as a result of recent upward swings in the market. It's anyone's guess if that will hold or continue with whispers of potential/likely recession still in the news regularly. A reduction in cash on hand is the result of the bathroom project (upstairs) now having been completed. Never did sit down to calculate, but I'd guess it was about $10k (materials and labor).

I resumed working at my day job in mid-October and from the looks of it, I was granted a singular 3% increase during my 2 year LOA. I probably need to have a discussion with my supervisor as I'm sure there's a missed adjustment in there.

I'm getting situated again but also keeping my eyes open for opportunities that will bring my compensation more in line with what I'm expecting. I know that I won't be able to pull the kinds of compensation that I was receiving while on orders but I can try to get close(r). I'm thinking, I'll probably jump ship in the springtime but there's quite a bit of uncertainty out there regarding the job market and what it will look like going forward.

As of now, I've got a pretty flexible hybrid arrangement that works for me. I'm not getting paid what I think I'm worth but the position is laid back enough that it somewhat compensates. That said, there's so little room in my discretionary budget after bills and expenses are paid that I feel I'm left balancing a wire. I need some additional home repairs, a replacement vehicle, and 529 contributions but there just isn't anything left in the budget. Insurance renewal is coming up, personal property taxes will soon follow, it's more and more likely that I'll have to part with the motorcycle. Despite it being paid in full, it's an added expense that I just don't have the money for. Money toward vacation expenses, flying, and remodeling would be welcome too.
