Still socking away cash, and now both of us can do catch-up contributions so we are maxing out our 401k plans. Wife sold remaining stock options for a decent gain late last year. I adjusted our home value down to reflect the drop in prices of the past few years, though I still think it's worth more than Zillow claims! Cash position is high because we plan on using part of it to pay off the mortgage in a few months. We also will be paying college tuition this year as well, which will boost monthly expenses, so hopefully the end result will keep expenses close to what they are now or slightly better.
