Notes:
I did not get the raise. Very disappointing. I was told that they agreed with all the reasons I asked for a raise. But they don't do 'off-cycle' increases. I know this to be false as some people have recently decided to leave the company, and "efforts" were made to retain them. Well, I guess I lose for not threatening to leave, but I could never accept a counter-offer. That's just bad business. I am also posting this quite late. My login wasn't working from July-December 2012. When they cleaned up the site, I was able to get back in. So much time has passed since I was denied the raise. My initial feelings following the request and denial were "that's it, I'm done with this place!" It was quite reactive. I started to look around for another job, but eventually decided to ride it out. So we'll see what the future holds. I hope to be rewarded for good work and loyalty soon.
