Lot's of random bills coming in. Car insurance, property insurance, vacation bills... Cashed out some funds to help get us through the onslaught. The recent market bounce is helping to lessen the blow.
The medical bills are mostly behind us now. The last big bill is on a payment plan which will be spread out over a couple of years.
Net worth is back on the rise again. All smiles. :-)

Spoke too soon on the medical bills. After a routine checkup with the skin doctor, I've been diagnosed with skin cancer. I'm already lined up for three days of surgery to have it "removed".
*sigh*... Stressed...
Celebrating my b-day and father's day this weekend. Going to do my damnedest to put it out of my head and enjoy being with family.

Zillow is listing our house value is over $250k for the first time since 2008. :-)

I've undergone two procedures on my face to remove the skin cancer. I have no doubt that I will have some ugly scars once everything is done. I would guess that will make finding a job down the road more difficult.
I've had some weak moments as a result of all this. Angry at myself for never getting a life insurance policy to supplement the coverage from work, and wondering if paying down the house aggressively instead of building up our savings more would have been a better move.

I feel like I've taken a good right hook to the face, but I'm cancer free!
And in other news... too much complacency. I do believe a correction is due.
