"Stocks" = all non-registered equity investments, RESP savings, combined personal and corporate holdings (Canadian/US/International Index Funds & ETFs), but also including RESP holdings for Kevin. "Bonds" = corporate cash (only actual cash, does not include any money in brokerage accounts). "Annuities" = Whole life policy, invested in corporate name. "Retirement" = investments in RRSP accounts only. "Other Assets" = investments in TFSA accounts only.
Well, spent a lot of money this month for a trip to Hawaii and more trips planned in the new year. Markets often dip as people sell off before the year-end for tax purposes, so managed to get *just* above the $2.7 million mark for year-end. The ongoing goal in 2018 will be to hit $3 million, which is a decent mark for me hitting age 40. Will continue to invest aggressively in blue-chip dividend payers and hold long-term. |
