| We went to DM to watch Lydia play volleyball and ate at Cheesecake Factory. Kay was back this month after leave for her new baby since December. She's only in on Mondays through May and doing telehealth the rest. We signed MS up for SS at 70 to start in July. Wrote out for her where all our bills and savings and investments are. Sean & Em at our place for Easter. BEWs to Council Bluffs. Sold the Camry to BEW for Alyas ($4,500, though not paid yet). Started Bluegrass with Duane Shinn. Bought Tiny House at Eagle Cliff for $83,000 from MS inheritance (listed as "Other Assets"). We spent $3600 on furnishings including a TV and deck furniture. Lincoln engine light fixed in Austin, MN. Later Entire Car found a blown oil pump ($500 total). Two trips to Smother's Brothers to pick up Vulcan - loose ground wire. Signed up Kinzler Insulation and Distinctive Landscapes for insulation and solid core doors in new office. Met Cindi and Craig at Eagle Cliff and moved into tiny house with our first load. Trip to Walmart in Rochester and Hardy's for lunch. Cleaned tiny house and hooked up new TV and Internet there. I start training with Jess Ward in Ames office. She starts in May. MS took Carol to Redeker's to order new chair for her new office. We bought deck furniture at Walmart for tiny house for $1,300. We bought 3 computers for the Ames office with new staff. MS and I cleaned out my office and shampooed the carpet. Had to buy a new shampooer. Interviewed Taylor for internship and working with us later when she's done and maybe office admin this summer. Made another trip to Eagle Cliff with the deck furniture and trailer. A 19 year old boy ran into our Lincoln in the Walmart parking lot in N. Ames but will not answer my tests and take responsibility for the accident. |
