Notes:
DOW up 4.67% for the year but off -2.4% for the month of August. Cash was up because I transferred $18,000 out of my IRA into a donation checking account at Edward Jones and we haven't given it yet. Started the month in California seeing our new granddaughter, Madison and Marty and Amanda's new house, ate at Jeff's Alderwood with Linda and he came to Marty and Amanda's also. Bought a Martin D-28 for Marty and gave him lessons. I had my last live supervision in CR as they all need individual supervision and the driving was getting to be too much. Supervision needs to be more relational going forward so Brandon is going to take that over there. I had my last appointment last month so am not seeing clients any more. MS and I went to the State Fair and saw For King and County. It was too loud for me to enjoy it. Met with CPA Brook and while we are doing well as a company I have to pay $10,000 a month in Federal taxes the rest of the year. Shara and Len came to dinner at our Tiny House as we spent the last two weeks of the month there. Emily started her internship this month and Emilie started her new job in Iron, MN and that is going very well. Brandon had back surgery and we went to CR to watch the kids while Philly was with him in the hospital. We had time to talk of the future of the company and he take 50% ownership in the new year and take over as CEO and reduce his client load.
