| The stock market continues to struggle a bit, but that's not really an area of concern to me right now. Looks like I'll be falling a tad short of year-end goals, despite the recent increases in revenue. I'm currently shunning all other freelance work until my own website is completed, so not expecting any last-minute contributions to occur.
My roommate has vacated after his stipulated 6 month tenure, so I'll be looking for a new roommate come the new year. Need to help keep family afloat for a while longer.
Also joining the rest of the sticker shock parade seeing health insurance premiums increase almost 20% for 2017. Getting some medical things out of the way for November, at which time I'll be researching if it's worth booting my $0 deductible Gold plan and trading down to a Silver. It could save me $100+/month, but let's just hope emergencies don't arise.
The next 30 days will be something to dread, as I always fall victim to those delicious Black Friday sales, mostly computer hardware/software related. Still looking for a subwoofer for my home office. That's the last big purchase I need this year before I start looking at bigger ticket items for 2017. |
