Career: I'm honestly enjoying work, it has challenging problems to work on and a sense of continuity which is nice given how hectic the rest of my life is.
Life: My partner started a new job but is getting interview requests from places he applied to a few months ago so he's continuing to interview hoping to get a better job. For now I'm taking on more stuff around the house to balance him pulling double duty for his career.
Financial: My partner did a backdoor roth ira conversion. He still needs to pay medical bills as well as reimburse himself for medical bills that he paid using his checking account instead of his HSA. I invested extra cash into international stocks and will increase that position to diversify my asset allocation which is concentrated in US stocks.
Health & wellness: I restarted jogging after a years-long hiatus and resumed exercising in other ways and am proud of my progress. I haven't restarted a cooking routine as much. We're eating out more nowadays and calling it date night, and this helps our mental wellbeing since we're both doing a lot of work right now. |
